:DRevealed-The One thing You Need to Blog for Profit!April 25th, 2007 ;DMany people dream of blogging for profit, and this goal is not far beyond the reach of someone with average intelligence, a willingness to work hard, and a basic grasp of blogging technology. However, very few people manage to reap the profits they want from their blog. Most people who attempt to make money with their blogs do not succeed for two reasons.Often, bloggers have unrealistic expectations of how fast their readership will grow and how much money they will make, and when these expectations are not met the disappointment can crush the desire to continue blogging. The other trap that many bloggers fall into has to do with lack of planning. If you want to turn a profit as a blogger, the key to success is to make a realistic plan and stick with it. To succeed at blogging for profit, the main thing that you will need is a large readership. The higher your traffic, the more advertisers will agree to pay you. However, cultivating the regular visitors that you will need in order to make a profit isn’t easy. As more and more blogs appear each day, having a great idea or a wonderful writing style is no longer enough to get attention. You need to be able to market your blog effectively. Too many bloggers spend all of their time writing posts and almost no time marketing their project. To be certain, updating as often as you can is a great way to keep your blog high on blogrolls and high in blog search engines like technorati, and once your readers know that you update frequently they will return to your site on a regular basis. However, it does not matter how often you update if nobody is reading your page, so don’t skimp on the time that you spend drawing visitors to your site.To make your dreams of blogging for profit a reality, try decreasing your number of posts and using some of that time to draw new visitors by setting up link exchanges with other bloggers, making contacts in the blog community, and following other established modes of winning traffic. Of course, even if you are a marketing genius or have a really great idea for a blog, success is not going to happen overnight.Building the kind of readership that blogging for profit requires takes time, and in all likelihood it will be at least several months before you are able to turn much of a profit. Try to stay committed to your blogging project during this initial rough period. To stay motivated, set goals for how often you will update and how many readers you want to attract, and then reward yourself for sticking with your plan. April 29th, 2007 We all know that to make money, either online or offline, you’ve got to be smart. And,I dare to say that Nigeria has its fair share of smart entrepreneurs and one strategy they use to make money is what I want to share in this post.Smart entrepreneurs are targetting and servicing the market of youths to generate real wealth for themselves.Don’t agree with me?Okay,go to any of the fast food restaurants around and which group of people do you find as the majority of their customers? The youth. What about the cybercafes around?Which group of people patronise them the most? The youth.Without any doubt therefore, the youth market is a market you can also target and service in your quest to make money. Why? you may ask.The youth, unlike older people, have no responsibilities,so,they tend to spend on impulse. This is unlike a parent who thinks about his kids before spending a penny. The effect of peer pressure also makes our youth top spenders,I mean, the desire to be like a friend who spends heavily. Most youth don’t work for money so they have no idea how difficult it is to make money,so,they most times spend money recklessly, especially, those from rich homes.Several reasons why you should also look for a way to service the youth abound but the most important thing is to sit down and ruminate, think deeply, about how you can service youths so that you can also make money.April 27th, 2007 I was at the bus stop recently and something that happened there prompted this post.An empty bus was passing by but immediately the driver sighted a flood of passengers going to a particular location(Ketu, precisely),he made a u-turn to pick the passengers even though he was going to another destination(Palm-Grove-Onipanu,also in Lagos, just like Ketu).Even though a trip to Ketu from that particular bus stop normally costs N40,the driver charged N70 and people were still falling over themselves to enter. What did I learn from that experience that relates to making money that I want to share in this post?To make money, you must solve problems for people. If you do,people will not mind to pay any amount you request for.The driver in the above case scenario solved the problem of transportion for people and they didn’t mind paying him what he asked for, despite the fact that it was almost double the normal fare.I know one question that may be going through your mind at this particular period is-what kind of problems can I solve for people in order to make money? My answer to that is simple.Just take a walk from your house to the bus stop, you will find so many problems you can solve for people. For instance, people need clothing, water to quench their thirst-which explains why ‘Pure Water’ is a bestseller, food when they are hungry, education for their kids, transportation to move around, leisure services when they need to relax-which explains why the Silverbird Galleria is raking in mounds of cash, etc etc.Peoples’ problems are really numerous, all you need is to be extra attentive.Oportunities to make money will always come your way.You also need to train your mind to recognize money-making opportunites, although that comes with time. Most times however,a pressing problem one is facing is an opportunity to make money but most times,we don’t recognize it.For instance,if you need the services of a laptop repairer,it is an opportunity to make money because other people might also have problems with their laptops. And if you decide to solve this problem in order to make money, just set up a laptop repairs centre and even if you don’t know jack about laptop repairs, employ someone who does and share the profits with the person.Alternatively, you can go for a short course in laptop repairs,if that area of business interests you and set up your own laptop repairs centre. So,the long and short of this post is-if you want to become a money magnet, solve a problem for people.I hope you have found this post useful. If you have, please tell your friends about this blog. All the best, copy from http://www.iyabooyawale.com/blog/add by admin of dollarsforum.com
